After a defensive mix-up in Trizzino AFC's zone, Alfonso Nelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Antonioni came out of the goal and Alfonso Nelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Nelli took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Antonioni. Anthony Antonioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Foddis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Foddis in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Antonioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Trizzino AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ercole Tacco hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Foddis in the 54th minute of play forced Trizzino AFC's goalkeeper Anthony Antonioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Nelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Antonioni having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, San Varano's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Gava came free, but Adriano Biondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Trizzino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Zuccarini to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Trizzino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Foddis came free, but Anthony Antonioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over San Varano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trizzino AFC throughout the match.
