The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Montenovo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trebbio AFC:s goal. The referee gave Trebbio AFC a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armin Mazzini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Montenovo FC's Eugenio Colle. 1-0. Eugenio Colle made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Fabiano Cala sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Cala got free with Eugenio Colle in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Palomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Zuccarini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Ermanno Piscopo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Zuccarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Antonio Palomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Palomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Suriani in the 19th minute of the match. Eugenio Colle made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fabiano Cala sent off a good shot on target. Fabiano Cala's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Eugenio Colle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antonio Palomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Zuccarini in the 36th minute of the match. Ermanno Piscopo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eugenio Colle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebbio AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

61 minutes into the match, Trebbio AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Palomba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Suriani. In the 61st match minute, Trebbio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Piscopo to maneuver through the defense. Cristoforo Suriani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Palomba having to make a save. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cristoforo Suriani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montenovo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Suriani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Palomba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Montenovo FC defense, Fabiano Cala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Colle. The Montenovo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Colle should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Cristoforo Suriani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 88 minutes into the game, Carmine Zuccarini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonio Palomba. Carmine Zuccarini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Antonio Palomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Zuccarini, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Carmine Zuccarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
