Ciccio Minichiello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Giusto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Corsico FC's zone, Davide Lauria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Piacente came out of the goal and Davide Lauria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes Portesine FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Guerra. 26 minutes into the match, Portesine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Minichiello came free, but Comunardo Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Giusto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Minichiello in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Davide Lauria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corsico FC's Arturo Piacente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Piacente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Bottaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Portesine FC's Davide Lauria got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Davide Lauria got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Portesine FC. Daniele Casiraghi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Arturo Piacente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Lauria in the 47th minute of the match. A collision led to Corsico FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Antonio Celli hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 49th minute when Davide Lauria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
