Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trebbio AFC's Biagio Di Pasquale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Corsico FC's Arturo Piacente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Corsico FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ciccio Minichiello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Palomba was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Fabiano Cala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Piacente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Di Pasquale in the 14th minute of play. If Antonio Locatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Trebbio AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Palomba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Trebbio AFC defense, Ernesto Iacovacci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Palomba. The Trebbio AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Palomba should have stopped the shot. Armin Mazzini, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute, Ermanno Piscopo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trebbio AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 41 played minutes Corsico FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Casiraghi. The long shot by Armin Mazzini in the 42nd minute really tested Arturo Piacente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Antonio Palomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Minichiello in the 43rd minute of the match. Ernesto Iacovacci might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Palomba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Iacovacci ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, Trebbio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Iacovacci came free, but Antonio Palomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciccio Minichiello to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corsico FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Trebbio AFC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armin Mazzini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corsico FC's Arturo Piacente. 2-1. If Fabiano Cala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Palomba made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ernesto Iacovacci sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Corsico FC booed when Trebbio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Mazzini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Palomba was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Domenico Quattrocchi. Antonio Locatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arturo Piacente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Palomba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Iacovacci in the 84th minute. Antonio Palomba came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Corsico FC's Ernesto Iacovacci. But to his dismay, Ernesto Iacovacci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After having played for 97 minutes, Fabiano Cala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trebbio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Cala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
