Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carmine Zuccarini took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Carter Canzano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montenovo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portesine FC the free kick. After having played for 10 minutes, Davide Lauria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portesine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Lauria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Bruno Colasante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comunardo Giusto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo Suriani's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Eugenio Colle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Bottaro in the 17th minute of play. Carmine Mannella hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A hard shot 19 in the game by Davide Lauria from a close distance when the talented Eugenio Colle managed to make a qualified save. Montenovo FC's players were relieved. Cesare Bottaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Colle having to interfere. When Cesare Bottaro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eugenio Colle was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Montenovo FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Zuccarini. After having played for 28 minutes, Cristoforo Suriani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montenovo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo Suriani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Carmine Zuccarini notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portesine FC's Comunardo Giusto. Comunardo Giusto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Comunardo Giusto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Suriani in the 33rd minute of the match. Carmine Zuccarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montenovo FC's Cristoforo Suriani got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Bottaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesare Bottaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Carmine Zuccarini struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Comunardo Giusto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montenovo FC. Cristoforo Suriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Comunardo Giusto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Lauria scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Colle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Montenovo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Canzano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cesare Bottaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portesine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Bottaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Colle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Suriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Giusto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Corrente during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Eraldo Corrente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comunardo Giusto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristiano Pedroni. Cesare Bottaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Colle having to interfere. When Carmine Zuccarini came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Montenovo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Zuccarini couldn't finish the play. Cesare Bottaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Portesine FC's Eraldo Corrente got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Carmine Zuccarini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Portesine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Renzetti to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Zuccarini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Giusto having to interfere. Cesare Bottaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
