When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Concetto Aquilino took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emiliano Ruggeri to make any attempt to save it. Donato Burelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Mazza in the 60th minute of the match. Carter Vespucci scored 2-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Burelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Burelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Marsilio in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Fabio Chiappini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalino's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Chiappini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Ruggeri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felice Micarelli's late challenge caught a Borghetto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felice Micarelli helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Casalino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Borghetto had won after a very even match.
