Edmondo Ferraresi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Biagio Zaino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Zaino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Salerno, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Salerno in the 8th minute of play forced Birone's goalkeeper Biagio Zaino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Coccolone hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Edmondo Ferraresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Birone getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anfilogino Penna hit a great ball. The supporters of Ravalle booed when Birone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Santoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andrea Santoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Ferraresi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Biagio Zaino made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Salerno in the 30th minute of play forced Birone's goalkeeper Biagio Zaino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Birone's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Salerno came free, but Biagio Zaino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes, Birone's Corrado Cara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Citrullo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Birone reached it. When Edmondo Ferraresi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ravalle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Ferraresi couldn't finish the play. Edmondo Ferraresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Zaino having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Massimi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domenico Salerno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Massimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Birone booed when Ravalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Caretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Massimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Flavio Citrullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Citrullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Massimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Andrea Santoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Aurelio Massimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Citrullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Massimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Citrullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Massimi in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Birone's zone, Amos Caretti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Zaino came out of the goal and Amos Caretti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ravalle's Amos Caretti got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Ravalle booed when Birone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Cara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Ermanno Gagliano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Zaino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Domenico Salerno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Domenico Salerno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
