Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Comunardo Marcucci made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Frank Di Pietro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grisignano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ravalle the free kick. After 2 played minutes Grisignano got a freekick which was hit by Frank Di Pietro. In the 8th minute, Edmondo Ferraresi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Salerno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Iannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Salerno in the 12th minute of the match. Edmondo Ferraresis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Cosimo Iannone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amos Caretti's late challenge caught a Grisignano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Caretti helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the game, one of Grisignano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Daniele De Cesaris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cosimo Iannone made a huge save. Grisignano's Aurelio Romagnoli got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Romagnoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Citrullo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Comunardo Marcucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Flavio Citrullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Edmondo Ferraresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 58th minute, Edmondo Ferraresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Comunardo Marcucci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Citrullo, 1-1. In the 66th minute Comunardo Marcucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Citrullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Ferraresi in the 70th minute of play forced Grisignano's goalkeeper Cosimo Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Marcucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Comunardo Marcucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grisignano's supporters rose to their feet, but Comunardo Marcucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Citrullo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Salerno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cosimo Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Grisignano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Anastasi to maneuver through the defense. Ravalle's Flavio Citrullo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ravalle from getting a goal against them. Ravalle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
