Alessio Di Marco made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Damiano Di Cola sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes, Alvaro Spagnuolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponzana and the Misano Adriatico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvaro Spagnuolo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Misano Adriatico FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ciccio Giorda hit a great ball. When Ponzana's Franco Di Falco in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Misano Adriatico FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Antonio Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Maccarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Di Marco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Di Falco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Maccarone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Addari's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, one of Ponzana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Misano Adriatico FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Davide Desiderio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ponzana's Alessandro Maccarone. 0-1. Antonello Pesce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Ponzana's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Addari came free, but Alessandro Maccarone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Antonello Pesce made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Maccarone. Ponzana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Damiano Di Cola fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponzana's protests and gave Damiano Di Cola a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Misano Adriatico FC booed when Ponzana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Di Cola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ferdinando Sartori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Sartori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Di Marco having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Di Falco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Franco Di Falco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Di Marco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Di Falco scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessio Di Marco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Addari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Maccarone having to interfere. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Franco Di Falco sped through Misano Adriatico FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alessio Di Marco. Antonello Pesce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Sartori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Di Marco having to interfere. Alessio Di Marco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Di Falco's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Misano Adriatico FC's Antonello Pesce in the 90th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alessandro Maccarone was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ponzana through an amazing save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
