Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eraldo Torelli got the match started through his kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Vergiano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Benarrivo came free, but Fulvio Riccardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Maurizi scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulvio Riccardi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Eraldo Apicella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fulvio Riccardi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vergiano AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernardo Orecchioni hit a great ball. Angelo Giorgio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Riccardi. Vergiano AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Fulvio De Lellis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Trizzino FC got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Guidoni. In the 41st minute, Eraldo Torelli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fausto Marchesani, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Vergiano AFC booed when Trizzino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Tosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Eraldo Torelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Marchesani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The referee gave Trizzino FC a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Angelo Giorgio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vergiano AFC's Fulvio Riccardi. 1-3. After having played for 56 minutes, Fulvio De Lellis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vergiano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio De Lellis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Anfilogino Benarrivo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 70th minute, Trizzino FC's Anfilogino Benarrivo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fulvio Riccardi. Fulvio Riccardi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 74 minutes into the match, Fulvio De Lellis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Marchesani. Trizzino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulvio De Lellis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Eraldo Torelli struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fausto Marchesani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vergiano AFC. Fulvio De Lellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amerigo Maurizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Riccardi having to interfere. Fulvio Riccardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Benarrivo in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eraldo Torelli in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Marchesani saved Trizzino FC from getting behind.
