The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eraldo Apicella hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Fausto Marchesani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Stella in the 11th minute of play. Anfilogino Benarrivo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Claudio Cilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Stella in the 19th minute of play forced Trizzino FC's goalkeeper Fausto Marchesani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Claudio Cilli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Lovoleto's zone, Anfilogino Benarrivo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Cilli came out of the goal and Anfilogino Benarrivo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amerigo Maurizi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Claudio Cilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trizzino FC. 31 minutes into the match, Lovoleto's goalkeeper Claudio Cilli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Maurizi. 34 minutes into the match, Lovoleto's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Benarrivo came free, but Claudio Cilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lovoleto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anfilogino Benarrivo 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Anfilogino Benarrivo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo Stella in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Marchesani prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino Benarrivo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lovoleto's Claudio Cilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Benarrivo in the 60th minute of play. Antonello Picciolis short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Fausto Marchesani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Amerigo Maurizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ciccio Iannotti fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lovoleto's protests and gave Ciccio Iannotti a yellow card for diving instead. Ciccio Iannotti hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Claudio Cilli came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Trizzino FC's Amerigo Maurizi. But to his dismay, Amerigo Maurizi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 2-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Cristoforo Stella elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo Stella in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 82nd match minute, Trizzino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Tosi to maneuver through the defense. When Trizzino FC's Anfilogino Benarrivo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lovoleto's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Benarrivo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Cilli. Lovoleto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anfilogino Benarrivo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trizzino FC had won after a very even match.
