The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Cavallaro got free with Ferruccio Alfani in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cabiate's Ferruccio Alfani got control of the ball when Enzo Cavallaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Domenico Giovannelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Sacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Colombo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute Eugenio Cericola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Alfani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Mazzetti's late challenge caught a Para AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Mazzetti helped the player get up and apologised. Ferruccio Alfani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Cavallaro in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amos Roberto during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was beautiful to see Cabiate's Bernardo Ascani in action when he in the 46th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Cericola was the one to do the kick off. Ferruccio Alfani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Cericola in the 54th minute of the match. The corner led Para AFC's Amos Roberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Ferruccio Alfani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferruccio Alfani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Cericola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Para AFC booed when Cabiate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Trabucco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Cericola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Alfani having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Giovannelli during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cabiate's Ferruccio Alfani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Cavallaro in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Cristiano Giordano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferruccio Alfani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cabiate's Bernardo Ascani got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Enzo Cavallaro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Eugenio Cericola came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Para AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Cericola couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Colombo might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anfilogino Sacchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Colombo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cabiate's Fabio Imperatrice got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ernesto Colombo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cabiate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Colombo couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Para AFC had won after a very even match.
