Ferruccio Alfani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Capasso in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno Cirone got free with Ferruccio Alfani in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Armando Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabiate's Ferruccio Alfani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ermanno Cirone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ferruccio Alfani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ernesto Colombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute.
