The supporters of Fiumazzo booed when Cancello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Presutti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Pietropaolo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Armin Senatore scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosimo Alberico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fiumazzo booed when Cancello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Senatore in the 26th minute of play forced Cancello's goalkeeper Cosimo Alberico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Giansante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosimo Alberico having to make a save. Attilio Censi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Censi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Attilio Censi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Emiliano Cannone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosimo Alberico. Cancello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fulvio Presutti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Armin Piattelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Cancello defense, Armin Senatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Alberico. The Cancello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Alberico should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Emiliano Cannone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiumazzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cancello the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fiumazzo's Emiliano Cannone got a free kick in the 41st minute. Cancello's Fedele Prato shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Armin Piattelli but with some difficulty. Emilio Greco kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Alberigo Pugliese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Fiumazzo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Fulvio Presutti made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fiumazzo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Alvise Vianello hit a great ball. Fulvio Presutti struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Armin Piattelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancello. Fulvio Presutti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Piattelli having to interfere. When Fiumazzo's Alberto Giansante in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cancello's goalie prevented a goal. Attilio Censi might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armin Piattelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attilio Censi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 71 minutes, Armin Senatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiumazzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Senatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonello Colle kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cancello's Cosimo Alberico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cancello from getting a goal against them. If Fulvio Presutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Censi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Giansante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cosimo Alberico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Alberico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Giansante in the 86th minute of play. Alberto Giansante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Balboni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cosimo Alberico came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Balboni slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fiumazzo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
