Biagio Rainaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Volta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Aureli in the 13th minute of play. Franco Cassone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Melucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Arnate's Domenico Volta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Aureli in the 25th minute of play. Adriano Melucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Cassone having to interfere. Ferdinando Ucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Cassone having to interfere. Arnate's Adriano Melucci got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Adriano Melucci made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Arnate's Adriano Melucci made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Cassone was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Ucci in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Cassone saved Riello AFC from getting behind. Franco Cassone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Melucci in the 59th minute of play. If Adriano Melucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Volta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Guarrera in the 65th minute of the match. Amerigo Aureli might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domenico Volta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Aureli ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferdinando Ucci struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Franco Cassone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arnate. In the 86thth minute of the game Adriano Melucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riello AFC's Franco Cassone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Guarrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Domenico Volta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Riello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Melucci came free, but Franco Cassone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Amerigo Aureli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amerigo Aureli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Volta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Emiliano Basilico fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arnate's protests and gave Emiliano Basilico a yellow card for diving instead. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
