Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Alberto Garibaldi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Aranova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Garibaldi couldn't finish the play. Alberigo Bassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Di Iorio in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Armando Di Iorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Bassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Alberto Colaussi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Aranova's Armando Di Iorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberigo Bassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, San Gaggio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Bolognini to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Garibaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Serra during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Aranova getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Elia Serra hit a great ball. When Fortunato Chiarelli fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Gaggio FC's protests and gave Fortunato Chiarelli a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Di Cristofaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Masetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Achille Masetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Augusto Di Cristofaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Garibaldi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberigo Bassi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Achille Masetti struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Augusto Di Cristofaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Gaggio FC. Achille Masetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Di Cristofaro having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Augusto Di Cristofaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Giammaria in the 51st minute. Alberto Garibaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Bassi having to interfere. Armando Di Iorio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Fausto Giammaria put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Di Cristofaro. If Armando Di Iorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Di Iorio in the 68th minute of play forced San Gaggio FC's goalkeeper Alberigo Bassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, San Gaggio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Di Iorio came free, but Alberigo Bassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fausto Giammaria sped through Aranova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Di Cristofaro. Fausto Giammaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Augusto Di Cristofaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aranova's Ciccio Simone got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 91 minutes of play San Gaggio FC's Fortunato Chiarelli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute, Fortunato Chiarelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Battista during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
