Fabio Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Emiliano Di Gregorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Pizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attilio Berti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Corvasce having to interfere. Edoardo Scurti charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edoardo Scurti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Elia Corvasce managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Lerca FC's Fabio Sergi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, Barbaricina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Berti came free, but Elia Corvasce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Sergi got free with Elia Corvasce in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barbaricina AFC's Elia Corvasce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Barbaricina AFC from getting a goal against them.
