Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiliano Ascoli started the match with the kick off. Cesano Boscone's Angelo Fiori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Frasca in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Cesano Boscone's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Frasca came free, but Angelo Fiori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Mannella charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Mannella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cesano Boscone getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Flavio Mannella hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Cesano Boscone:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verziano:s goal. Beppe Guidone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bernardo Lattanzio made a huge save. Enrico Frabetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Angelo Fiori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Guidone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Lattanzio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alberigo Frasca struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Angelo Fiori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verziano. Enrico Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alberigo Frasca came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Verziano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Frasca couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ascoli in the 39th minute of play forced Verziano's goalkeeper Bernardo Lattanzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Mannella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Guidone might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Lattanzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beppe Guidone ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Emiliano Ascoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Emiliano Ascoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesano Boscone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Ascoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cesano Boscone getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Flavio Mannella hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Verziano's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Guidone came free, but Bernardo Lattanzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesano Boscone's Angelo Fiori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Frasca in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Beppe Guidone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Lattanzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Guidone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Beppe Guidone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cesano Boscone's Emiliano Ascoli in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verziano's goalie prevented a goal. Beppe Guidone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bernardo Lattanzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verziano's goalkeeper Bernardo Lattanzio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberigo Frasca might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Fiori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberigo Frasca ran back to his position shaking his head. After 90 played minutes Verziano got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Marcucci. Bernardo Lattanzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Guidone, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Verziano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
