An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Ascani in the 12th minute of play forced Arosio FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Santucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Angelici in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmondo Santucci saved Arosio FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Para's Dennis Di Francesco got control of the ball when Carlo Petroni tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dario Ascani came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Para fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Ascani couldn't finish the play. When Alfredo De Sanctis fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arosio FC's protests and gave Alfredo De Sanctis a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo De Sanctis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Edmondo Santucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Angelici, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arosio FC's zone, Dario Ascani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Santucci came out of the goal and Dario Ascani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Para were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Arosio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dave Sorge took the corner. After a rather tough play, Arosio FC's Cristoforo Polidori got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Carter Angelici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Para's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Angelici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Santucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fabrizio Macchione kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Para's Dario Ascani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmondo Santucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrizio Macchione might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Di Francesco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Macchione ran back to his position shaking his head.
