Alberto Fasciani helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arosio FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alberto Fasciani hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Bernardo Olivieri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmondo Santucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlo Cherubini's late challenge caught a Arosio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo Cherubini helped the player get up and apologised. Concetto Scarinci went to the wrong direction when Cristoforo Polidori was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Carlo Petroni struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Concetto Scarinci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arosio FC. Concetto Scarinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Macchione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Carlo Petroni lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Concetto Scarinci. If Aurelio Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arosio FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alberto Fasciani hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Aurelio Caiola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Budrione AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrizio Macchione made a kick off. Federico Gelsomini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Edmondo Santucci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Concetto Scarinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Petroni in the 58th minute of the match. Federico Gelsomini succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 66th playminute. Concetto Scarinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Petroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A hard shot by Carlo Oroni from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Edmondo Santucci's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arosio FC! The goalkeeper, Edmondo Santucci, was totally fooled by Budrione AFC's Bernardo Olivieri, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Arosio FC's Carlo Petroni got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlo Petroni came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Arosio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Petroni couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Arosio FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Santucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Gelsomini. Concetto Scarinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Petroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Caiola in the 97th minute of play forced Arosio FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Santucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Budrione AFC's Aurelio Caiola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmondo Santucci. That made the score 1-4 after 99 minutes of play. Budrione AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
