Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Olmi made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Caneva notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mandria's Carmine Buffone. Carmine Buffone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Eraldo Ronconi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12thth minute of the game Alfonso Oriali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besanigo's Camillo Di Salvatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferruccio Caneva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Olmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Carmine Buffone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso Oriali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Besanigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bisegna to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Oriali in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Di Salvatore saved Besanigo from getting behind. If Eraldo Ronconi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, Mandria's Alfonso Oriali made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camillo Di Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Besanigo's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Ronconi came free, but Camillo Di Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferruccio Caneva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Carmine Buffone made a huge save. Camillo Di Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Oriali in the 37th minute of the match. Ferruccio Caneva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Pellicciotta's late challenge caught a Besanigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Pellicciotta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mandria's Flavio Pellicciotta got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Caneva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmine Buffone. Mandria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferruccio Caneva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Oriali to make the kick off. Frank Olmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camillo Di Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Oriali in the 58th minute of the match. Alfonso Oriali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Camillo Di Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Olmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Caneva in the 74th minute of play forced Mandria's goalkeeper Carmine Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frank Olmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Besanigo's Elia Di Lillo got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Besanigo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciccio Campo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mandria's players had a chance to rest. Ciccio Campo made a great header on Mandria's corner, it was just that Besanigo's Camillo Di Salvatore managed to reach the ball for a save. Alfonso Oriali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Di Salvatore having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Eraldo Ronconi rounded Besanigo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Besanigo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
