Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Bravo started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Modolena FC's zone, Eraldo Ronconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Uguccioni came out of the goal and Eraldo Ronconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francesco Petroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Ronconi got free with Arturo Uguccioni in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mandria's Alfonso Oriali in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carmine Buffone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Modolena FC booed when Mandria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Ronconi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Oriali to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Oriali, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mandria:s Carmine Buffone showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Giannico:s penalty. 72 minutes into the match, Mandria's goalkeeper Carmine Buffone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Giacchetti. Arturo Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Oriali, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Arturo Uguccioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Ronconi in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Modolena FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fedele Falcioni hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Modolena FC got a freekick which was hit by Davide Giacchetti. With an all-out effort, Modolena FC's Carmine Buffone threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Bravo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Pellicciotta during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
