Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Corrado Placidi kicked off to start the match. Biagio Bobbio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Gabriele having to make a save. Amerigo Facchini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Ernesto Alfieri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 5 minutes into the game, Camillo Pietropaolo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moncalieri AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verucchio FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Moncalieri AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Pietropaolo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonello Banana in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Alfieri saved Moncalieri AFC from getting behind. Fausto Gabriele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corrado Placidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Aldo Ucci hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Verucchio FC's Fausto Gabriele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Bobbio in the 14th minute of play. Bernardo Mosca kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ernesto Alfieri made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Amerigo Facchini sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Verucchio FC's Alfredo Greco got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Moncalieri AFC's Eugenio Tagliente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Verucchio FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amerigo Facchini got free with Ernesto Alfieri in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Gabriele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Placidi in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Corrado Placidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Gabriele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Verucchio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Bobbio came free, but Fausto Gabriele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Greco charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Greco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Corrado Placidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Gabriele having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonello Banana to strike the kick off in the second half. If Corrado Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Alfieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Facchini in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Moncalieri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Banana came free, but Ernesto Alfieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ernesto Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Bobbio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corrado Placidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fausto Gabriele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Bobbio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Fausto Gabriele made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Verucchio FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Ucci. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Verucchio FC! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Moncalieri AFC. Eugenio Tagliente stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fausto Gabriele. 0-1. Biagio Bobbio struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fausto Gabriele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncalieri AFC. In the 95th minute, Moncalieri AFC's Corrado Placidi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2.
