Cinecitta's Fedele Di Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Zisser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Alessandro in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute Carmine Alessandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Zisser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Alessandro took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Zisser. Ernesto Zisser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carmine Alessandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Zisser having to interfere. Fedele Di Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Spitaleri having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Corticella got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Bozzelli. Carter Pinti, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Di Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Emiliano Michelini fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cinecitta's protests and gave Emiliano Michelini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Corticella booed when Cinecitta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Michelini didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlo Carlucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Carlucci struck a weak shot in the 67th minute.
