When Ercole Capone came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Soprabolzano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Capone couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Corticella's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Capone came free, but Anselmo Spitaleri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Anselmo Spitaleri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domenico Guerrini came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Soprabolzano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Guerrini couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Spitaleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Guerrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Domenico Guerrini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Spitaleri. Corticella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenico Guerrini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Carlo Carlucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Corticella booed when Soprabolzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Damiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Spitaleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Guerrini in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Ercole Capone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soprabolzano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Capone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ercole Capone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soprabolzano FC's Domenico Guerrini got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Berardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Carlucci went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmine Alessandro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Carlo Carlucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Berardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Corticella booed when Soprabolzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Tomasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Berardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Alessandro in the 59th minute of the match. Alberigo Tomasso kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Carlucci in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Berardo saved Soprabolzano FC from getting behind. Soprabolzano FC's Alberigo Tomasso got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Alberigo Tomasso off the ground. After 65 played minutes Soprabolzano FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Tomasso. 70 minutes into the match, Soprabolzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Alessandro came free, but Ernesto Berardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Berardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Carlucci's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Carlo Carlucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Berardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Carlucci ran back to his position shaking his head. When Domenico Guerrini came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Soprabolzano FC fans jumped to their feet. Florian Mara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Berardo. Soprabolzano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernesto Berardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Alessandro in the 88th minute of play. Alfredo Damiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anselmo Spitaleri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
