After taking down the ball on Vespolate's corner Christian Tondi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Zisser quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Flavio Passalacqua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Zisser saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Massa in the 22nd minute of play forced Vespolate's goalkeeper Elia Fulgenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cinecitta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Di Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Fulgenzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Donato Cerasoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cinecitta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Cerasoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Augusto Bolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Fulgenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cinecitta's Donato Cerasoli got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Di Michele during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carter Pinti made a great header on Cinecitta's corner, it was just that Vespolate's Elia Fulgenzi managed to reach the ball for a save. 95 minutes into the match, Cinecitta's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Polo came free, but Ernesto Zisser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
