Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Diego Casadei started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Andrea Colaussi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Cabrini. Corticella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Colaussi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Ettore Pedroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corticella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Pedroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th play minute Andrea Colaussi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Angelo Cabrini. 2-0. In the 15th minute Diego Casadei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Cabrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Tieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Colaussi got free with Angelo Cabrini in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Cabrini came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Trentola's Andrea Colaussi. But to his dismay, Andrea Colaussi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Corticella's Beppe De Cristofaro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Corticella's Angelo Cabrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Corticella from getting a goal against them. Achille Corvo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Corticella's Ettore Pedroni. But to his dismay, Ettore Pedroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Fabio Ciccarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Achille Corvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Pedroni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ettore Pedroni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achille Corvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Alberto Di Lorenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Di Lorenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Trentola got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Di Lorenzo. Ettore Pedroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Corvo having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Alberto Di Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Tieri came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Achille Corvo could save by the left post. Alberto Di Lorenzo got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alberto Di Lorenzo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Achille Galliani was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Angelo Cabrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Colaussi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Andrea Colaussi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trentola's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Colaussi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Cabrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Tieri in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Achille Corvo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Fabiano Tieri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Attilio Di Donato fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trentola's protests and gave Attilio Di Donato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Trentola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Di Donato to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Colaussi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Cabrini having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Diego Casadei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Fabio Ciccarelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corticella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trentola the free kick. The supporters of Trentola booed when Corticella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ciccarelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corticella's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
