In the 6th match minute, Trentola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Di Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. Masrola Di Sotto FC's Demetrio Di Loreto got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Casadei in the 18th minute of play forced Masrola Di Sotto FC's goalkeeper Amos Catini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Trentola's goalkeeper Achille Corvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Rosini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Casadei in the 24th minute of play forced Masrola Di Sotto FC's goalkeeper Amos Catini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ciccio Farina fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trentola's protests and gave Ciccio Farina a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Trentola got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Farina. Attilio Galliani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achille Corvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Trentola's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Rosini came free, but Achille Corvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Di Loreto in the 38th minute of play forced Trentola's goalkeeper Achille Corvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achille Corvo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carmine Pio. Diego Casadei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Catini having to interfere. Amos Catini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Colaussi in the 44th minute of the match. Diego Casadei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Amos Catini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Masrola Di Sotto FC's Cristiano Rosini got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demetrio Di Loreto was the one to do the kick off. Amos Catini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Casadei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. With a little luck, Masrola Di Sotto FC's Amos Catini got control of the ball when Andrea Colaussi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Masrola Di Sotto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Pelliccia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Andrea Colaussi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trentola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Colaussi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Masrola Di Sotto FC's zone, Diego Casadei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Catini came out of the goal and Diego Casadei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Amos Catini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Demetrio Di Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Achille Corvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Demetrio Di Loreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achille Corvo. Trentola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrio Di Loreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Trentola's Achille Corvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Di Loreto in the 98th minute of play. If Cristiano Rosini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
