Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fortunato Fiori got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Fiori in the 3rd minute of play forced Pegli FC's goalkeeper Angelo Scatena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Davide Ascoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegli FC's Angelo Scatena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pegli FC's Angelo Scatena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Ascoli in the 9th minute of play. Carlo Zarillo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrea Sciarretta. Andrea Sciarretta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Ascoli in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Scatena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Florian Alfonsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pegli FC's Florian Alfonsi got a free kick in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rapallo's Amerigo Lucantoni tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Biagio Ronca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortunato Fiori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlo Zarillo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Pegli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Zarillo couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute of the match Eugenio Cirelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Sciarretta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rapallo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Biagio Ronca 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. With a little luck, Rapallo's Andrea Sciarretta got control of the ball when Carlo Zarillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Carlo Zarillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fabio Mirto made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Pegli FC's Fabio Mirto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Sciarretta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Mirto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Sciarretta having to interfere. In the 69th minute Carlo Zarillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Sciarretta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Davide Ascoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Fiori in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Scatena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Rapallo booed when Pegli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Simeoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pegli FC's zone, Eugenio Melchiorre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Scatena came out of the goal and Eugenio Melchiorre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Fortunato Fiori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Fiori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Fabio Mirto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Andrea Sciarretta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 played minutes Pegli FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Alfonsi. Davide Ascoli in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Scatena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute, Fortunato Fiori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Scatena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Fiori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Ascoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegli FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
