Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ercole Macchione started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Elia Scannella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aquino and the Figline players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Aquino got a freekick which was hit by Elia Scannella. Fausto Castellini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Montaldi in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Pavia in the 12th minute of play forced Aquino's goalkeeper Fortunato Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Marzoli hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cesare Flammini in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fortunato Silvestre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Figline's Fausto Castellini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Macchione in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Aquino booed when Figline was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare De Filippo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Enzo Bolli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Figline's Fausto Castellini didn't even have to move. If Ercole Macchione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Elia Scannella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Flammini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fortunato Silvestre made a huge save. When Elia Scannella was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. If Cristoforo Montaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Flammini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fortunato Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fortunato Silvestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Pavia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Flammini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fortunato Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aquino's zone, Cesare Flammini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Silvestre came out of the goal and Cesare Flammini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesare Flammini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Paoletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 67 played minutes Aquino got a freekick which was hit by Dario Gizzi. Cristoforo Montaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Evani, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Flammini in the 80th minute of play forced Aquino's goalkeeper Fortunato Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Pavia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fortunato Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Macchione's late challenge caught a Figline's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercole Macchione helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Flammini in the 88th minute of play forced Aquino's goalkeeper Fortunato Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Pavia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Silvestre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Carlo Pavia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
