Corrado Ferraresi scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Bolognesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd match minute, Cavalicco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comunardo Forte to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Salvagnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristiano Bolognesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fedele Papetti came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Montiano fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Montiano's Armin Pan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Elia Totaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Edoardo Salvagnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bolognesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Montiano got a freekick which was hit by Armin Pan. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavalicco's goalkeeper Damiano Pellecchia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Cavalicco's Damiano Pellecchia got control of the ball when Fedele Papetti tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Comunardo Forte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Cristiano Bolognesi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Cavalicco's Bernardo Trombetta got a free kick in the 57th minute. Comunardo Forte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristiano Bolognesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Pellecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Papetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Anfilogino Di Giandomenico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montiano and the Cavalicco players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Montiano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anfilogino Di Giandomenico hit a great ball. Cavalicco's Damiano Pellecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Papetti in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Montiano's goalkeeper Cristiano Bolognesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edoardo Salvagnin. If Bruno Facchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Comunardo Forte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bolognesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montiano's goalkeeper Cristiano Bolognesi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavalicco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
