Porporana

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Flavio De Bettin made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Sciotto in the 7th minute of play forced Porporana's goalkeeper Bernardo Selvaggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Comunardo Schiacciacasse from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Filippo Marchetti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Amedeo Patrizi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Torino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Patrizi couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Patrizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Selvaggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Porporana's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Sciotto came free, but Bernardo Selvaggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amedeo Patrizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bernardo Selvaggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torino FC's Filippo Marchetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Torino FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Porporana's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Patrizi came free, but Bernardo Selvaggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Porporana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Domenghini to maneuver through the defense. Torino FC's Filippo Marchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio De Bettin in the 31st minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Angelo Sciotto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Torino FC's Alessandro Greco pulled a muscle in his leg after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Carmine Bassani fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porporana's protests and gave Carmine Bassani a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Porporana's Carmine Bassani got a free kick in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Torino FC's Christian Ceccon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Amedeo Patrizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Patrizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Fabiano Cavaliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Marchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Flavio De Bettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Marchetti was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Christian Ceccon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Vitale hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Torino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Federico Crisantemo in the 72nd minute. Federico Crisantemo made a great header on Torino FC's corner, it was just that Porporana's Bernardo Selvaggi managed to reach the ball for a save. Amedeo Patrizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Selvaggi made a huge save. Filippo Marchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio De Bettin in the 76th minute of play. Flavio De Bettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Marchetti having to interfere. Amedeo Patrizi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Bernardo Selvaggi 94 minutes into the match. Torino FC played a much better game than Porporana and deserved their victory. The Porporana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
