Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flavio De Bettin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Flavio De Bettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porporana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio De Bettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mottella's Bruno Pierucci got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Selvaggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Giansante in the 12th minute of play. Edmondo Vitale's late challenge caught a Mottella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmondo Vitale helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Porporana's Edmondo Vitale got a free kick in the 12th minute. Bruno Pierucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Selvaggi having to interfere. Bruno Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bernardo Selvaggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Porporana's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Giansante came free, but Bernardo Selvaggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Pierucci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Bernardo Selvaggi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabiano Cavaliere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Fabrizio Domenghini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Giansante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bernardo Selvaggi made a huge save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porporana's goalkeeper Bernardo Selvaggi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ennio Giansante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Giansante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Bruno Pierucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrizio Domenghini charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Domenghini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Fabrizio Domenghini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Mottella's Amerigo Orioli tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Flavio De Bettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Mascia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Bernardo Selvaggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Giansante in the 52nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Mottella's corner Amerigo Orioli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Selvaggi quite easily take care of the ball. Fabiano Cavaliere might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amedeo De Grandis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Cavaliere ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 66 minutes, Bruno Pierucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruno Pierucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mottella were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Porporana for a fine match.
