Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ennio Giansante started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Damiano Lucente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Marchetti having to interfere. When Bruno Pierucci came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mottella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Pierucci couldn't finish the play. Bruno Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Filippo Marchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Crisantemo's late challenge caught a Mottella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Crisantemo helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torino FC! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Mottella. Amerigo Orioli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filippo Marchetti. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Sciotto in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo De Grandis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Torino FC's zone, Ennio Giansante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Marchetti came out of the goal and Ennio Giansante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torino FC's Filippo Marchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Giansante in the 38th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Ennio Giansante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torino FC's Filippo Marchetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Angelo Sciotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo De Grandis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mottella's Amedeo De Grandis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Sciotto in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Sciotto to make the kick off. Filippo Marchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Mascia in the 53rd minute of play. If Christian Ceccon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Ciccio Di Clemente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mottella and the Torino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Mottella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Di Clemente to maneuver through the defense. If Ennio Giansante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Mottella's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Sciotto came free, but Amedeo De Grandis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes Mottella's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Federico Crisantemo who took care of the corner kick. Ennio Nobili was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 70th minute, Amedeo Patrizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Sciotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Torino FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alessandro Greco hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Bruno Pierucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filippo Marchetti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Amedeo De Grandis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Patrizi in the 89th minute. Ennio Giansante struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Filippo Marchetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mottella. Mottella were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Torino FC for a fine match.
