With a little luck, Basovizza AFC's Eugenio Teodori got control of the ball when Anselmo Spano tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Eugenio Teodori managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Montorsoli's Anselmo Spano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugenio Teodori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Speranza in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basovizza AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio Teodori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Teodori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Speranza in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Anselmo Spano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eugenio Teodori, passed just outside the right post. Ferruccio Orlandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Rullo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Anselmo Spano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Spano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Teodori having to interfere. Montorsoli's Ercole Rullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Orlandi in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Carter Caccavale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ercole Rullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Orlandi in the 37th minute of the match. If Carter Caccavale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Spano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Montorsoli's Ercole Rullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Di Fonzo in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Montorsoli getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Demetrio Campoli hit a great ball. Eugenio Teodori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Spano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Teodori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Spano in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Basovizza AFC's zone, Ennio Speranza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Teodori came out of the goal and Ennio Speranza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ercole Rullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Mannucci in the 70th minute of the match. Alfonso Petrella hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Carter Caccavale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Rullo having to interfere. If Ferruccio Orlandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Alfonso Petrella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerigo Colaneri hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Antonello Attili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Demetrio Campoli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Basovizza AFC's Eugenio Teodori didn't even have to move. 89 minutes into the match, Montorsoli's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Orlandi came free, but Ercole Rullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montorsoli's goalie and right to Amedeo Di Fonzo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montorsoli's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ercole Rullo was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Ferruccio Orlandi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferruccio Orlandi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Basovizza AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
