Ennio Novella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altichiero FC. If Ennio Damiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Concorezzo FC and the Altichiero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Concorezzo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altichiero FC the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Daniele Fioravanti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amedeo Toccaceli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ennio Novella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Altichiero FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Loiacono. Damiano Rosetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Altichiero FC booed when Concorezzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Colantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ennio Damiani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Altichiero FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
