Alberto Petito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Negrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alberto Petito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlo Negrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Cerveteri's goalkeeper Ernesto Di Paola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Bassani. If Beppe Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Di Michele was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 44th match minute, Santa Nicola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Coletti to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Di Paola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Di Michele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Grandis in the 60th minute of play forced Santa Nicola AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Petito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Guerrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Cerveteri's Damiano Labate got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerveteri's goalkeeper Ernesto Di Paola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Santa Nicola AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cerveteri's performance. The match ended with a win for Cerveteri.
