Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marino AFC's Corrado De Nicola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Marino AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Valcareggi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Larizza. Carter Abbagnale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Valcareggi having to interfere. Amerigo Larizza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Carmine Valcareggi made a huge save. If Corrado De Nicola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anfilogino Cagnetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Cipollone, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Corrado De Nicola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Anfilogino Cagnetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Marino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Chizzo to maneuver through the defense. Carter Abbagnale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carmine Valcareggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amerigo Larizza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Marino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Chizzo. 37 minutes into the match, Marino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Abbagnale came free, but Carmine Valcareggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th of the match, Carter Abbagnale tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Carmine Valcareggi got in the way and made a wonderful save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Aosta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marino AFC:s goal. After the first half Marino AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amerigo Larizza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game, Alessio Cipollone landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 53 minutes, Carter Abbagnale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aosta and the Marino AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aosta getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carter Abbagnale hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes, Marino AFC's Francesco Moscatelli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anfilogino Cagnetta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marino AFC reached it. Corrado De Nicola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Amedeo Gaeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aosta's Anfilogino Cagnetta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Aosta's Amerigo Larizza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmine Valcareggi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Anfilogino Cagnetta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corrado De Nicola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. Amerigo Larizza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corrado De Nicola in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anfilogino Cagnetta saved Aosta from getting behind. 2-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Amerigo Larizza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Francesco Casale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Valcareggi having to interfere. Carmine Valcareggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Larizza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Corrado De Nicola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marino AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado De Nicola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anfilogino Cagnetta was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Amedeo Gaeta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amedeo Gaeta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Marino AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aosta.
