Ercole Di Ianni struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Arrigo Antonacci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torriana FC. Fabiano Loiacono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alessandro Piscitelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Torriana FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alex Giolo hit a great ball. Alessandro Piscitelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto De Bartolo in the 26th minute. When Sasso Marconi's Ermanno Giuliani in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torriana FC's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Cristiano Massimini notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sasso Marconi's Arrigo Antonacci. After a rather tough play, Torriana FC's Ercole Di Ianni got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ercole Di Ianni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Antonacci having to interfere. Arrigo Antonacci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Massimini, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alessandro Piscitelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto De Bartolo in the 46th minute. Emanuele Cianci charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Cianci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Torriana FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Emanuele Cianci hit a great ball. After the first half Torriana FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Giuliani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Loiacono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Ermanno Giuliani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Piscitelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torriana FC! Dennis Colombi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Arrigo Antonacci was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ercole Di Ianni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ercole Di Ianni really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Arrigo Antonacci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Di Ianni in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Sasso Marconi's Ermanno Giuliani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Piscitelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio De Vito during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sasso Marconi getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fabiano Loiacono hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Eugenio De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ercole Di Ianni came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Torriana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Di Ianni couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Torriana FC booed when Sasso Marconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio De Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fabiano Loiacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
