Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gerenzano AFC's Elia Giorda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ettore Cianci came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Concorezzo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Cianci couldn't finish the play. Ermanno Bianchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Di Tommaso in the 6th minute of play. Ermanno Bianchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Cianci's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Gerenzano AFC's Ermanno Bianchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Cianci in the 11th minute of play. Ermanno Bianchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Celli in the 14th minute of the match. If Adriano Celli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Gerenzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Celli came free, but Ermanno Bianchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Concorezzo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Quercia. 28 minutes into the match, Gerenzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Cianci came free, but Ermanno Bianchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Giorda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ettore Cianci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Bianchi having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Gerenzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Genovesi. Ettore Cianci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermanno Bianchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ermanno Bianchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Cianci, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Concorezzo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Concorezzo AFC's Ettore Cianci got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adriano Celli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Cianci got free with Ermanno Bianchi in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ettore Cianci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concorezzo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Cianci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Bianchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Concorezzo AFC's Adriano Celli in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gerenzano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ettore Cianci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Bianchi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Adriano Celli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concorezzo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Celli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Bianchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Elia Giorda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Santovito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Cianci got free with Ermanno Bianchi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emilio Lazzaro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concorezzo AFC's protests and gave Emilio Lazzaro a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Lazzaro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Gerenzano AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
