Davide Panza started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Nibbiaia AFC defense, Enzo Di Crescenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Moschetta. The Nibbiaia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Moschetta should have stopped the shot. If Attilio Signori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Grassi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Alfonso Bozzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nibbiaia AFC. Alfonso Bozzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davide Panza went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 27thth minute of the game Christian Minotti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nibbiaia AFC's Enzo Moschetta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Arola's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Panza came free, but Alfonso Bozzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Moschetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Signori, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Attilio Signori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Moschetta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arola's zone, Beppe De Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Bozzo came out of the goal and Beppe De Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Grassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Bozzo having to interfere. If Amos Grassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Amos Grassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nibbiaia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Grassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Bozzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arola's Attilio Signori got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Di Crescenzo's late challenge caught a Nibbiaia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Di Crescenzo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nibbiaia AFC booed when Arola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Di Crescenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Grassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alfonso Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match Claudio Cera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Moschetta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfonso Bozzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Grassi in the 67th minute of play. Flavio Di Prinzio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Di Prinzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nibbiaia AFC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristoforo Nicolo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arola's Alfonso Bozzo. 2-1. If Davide Panza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Signoris short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Enzo Moschetta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Arola players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nibbiaia AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
