After a good free kick, Flavio Carafa got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Marco Simone Vecchio. If Enzo Carlucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes in the game, Enzo Carlucci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Lepre having to interfere. Dennis Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Romagnoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Enzo Carlucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Fabiano Leggeri took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bruno Lepre to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute Fabiano Leggeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lepre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marco Simone Vecchio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Frank Di Franco hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Concetto Aceto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Lepre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Leggeri went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Fabiano Leggeri made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Andrea Rulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flavio Carafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Enzo Carlucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marco Simone Vecchio's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Carlucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Lepre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes, Marco Simone Vecchio's Franco Del Prete shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Lepre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marco Simone Vecchio reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Leggeri in the 71st minute of play forced Minoprio's goalkeeper Bruno Lepre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Fabiano Leggeri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minoprio's Bruno Lepre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Enzo Carlucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Leggeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lepre having to interfere. Dennis Santo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferdinando Romagnoli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute of the match Amedeo Pasquino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Lepre skillfully saved the ball. After 89 played minutes Minoprio got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Giuliani. Fabiano Leggeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Lepre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Carlucci in the 93rd minute of the match. Enzo Carlucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Fabiano Leggeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lepre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Marco Simone Vecchio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
