Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernesto Scarinci took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ponzana FC's Fabio Piscitelli got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Salviano booed when Ponzana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Piscitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ponzana FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fabio De Fina hit a great ball. Salviano's Enrico Pich couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ponzana FC. If Alfredo Corvasce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Marzulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Sacchetti having to interfere. Salviano's Aurelio Bondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Corvasce in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ernesto Iezzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ponzana FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabio De Fina hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Ponzana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salviano:s goal. The goalkeeper, Dario Sacchetti, was totally fooled by Salviano's Enrico Pich, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernesto Scarinci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Bondi having to interfere. Ernesto Iezzis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Dario Sacchetti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aurelio Bondi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Scarinci's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Salviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Giordani to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Bondi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Scarinci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Iezzi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Salviano's Aurelio Bondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Scarinci in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ennio Morandin to make the kick off. The supporters of Ponzana FC booed when Salviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Leggeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Salviano's goalkeeper Aurelio Bondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Corvasce. Ernesto Iezzi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Bernardo Marzulli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salviano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Marzulli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Morandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ennio Morandin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ernesto Scarinci came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ponzana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Scarinci couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Ponzana FC's Frank Zara tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bernardo Marzulli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anfilogino Scatena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Ennio Morandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Sacchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabio De Fina fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponzana FC's protests and gave Fabio De Fina a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Ponzana FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio De Fina. Ennio Morandin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dario Sacchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salviano's Aurelio Bondi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Salviano from getting a goal against them.
