Antonio Gaudino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Mascia in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ennio Mascia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casinalbo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio Mascia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Gaudino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Gaudino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Mascia in the 17th minute of the match. Antonio Antonangeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Pelati having to interfere. Casinalbo AFC's Eraldo Pelati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Beattie in the 26th minute of play. When Franco Balestra fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casinalbo AFC's protests and gave Franco Balestra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Franco Balestra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Marchesani charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Marchesani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Calisese FC booed when Casinalbo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Marchesani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ercole Di Crescenzo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio Mascia to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Gaudino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Mascia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Gaudino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Mascia in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Beattie in the 64th minute of play forced Casinalbo AFC's goalkeeper Eraldo Pelati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Marzo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Casinalbo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Marra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Beattie in the 76th minute of play forced Casinalbo AFC's goalkeeper Eraldo Pelati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Calisese FC's Fabio Forlano got a free kick in the 78th minute. Attilio Marra shot from long distance in the 79th minute, but Antonio Gaudino was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Antonangeli in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Pelati saved Casinalbo AFC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Antonio Antonangeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Concetto Beattie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Casinalbo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Balestra to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Calisese FC were awarded a corner. Alberigo Di Massa went to the cornerflag to take it. Calisese FC's Christian Stumpo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eraldo Pelati in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Concetto Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calisese FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Concetto Beattie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Pelati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antonio Antonangeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Casinalbo AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Calisese FC side.
