The supporters of Calisese FC booed when Olmi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio De Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Caroli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Antonio Gaudino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Beppe Cavallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Concetto Beattie to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Beppe Cavallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olmi's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Cavallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Gaudino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Caroli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Gaudino having to interfere. After some careless play in the Calisese FC defense, Beppe Cavallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Gaudino. The Calisese FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Gaudino should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Beppe Cavallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Gaudino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Aversa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Antonio Antonangeli sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Caroli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Elia Bulla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Calisese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Bulla to maneuver through the defense. Calisese FC's Concetto Beattie got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Calisese FC's Concetto Beattie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Aversa. That made the score 1-1 after 96 minutes of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
