The audience thought a goal was coming when Corrado Marinacci got free with Fortunato Fiordelisi in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortunato Fiordelisi made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Corrado Marinacci sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes, Donato Nardone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fabbrico FC and the Marechiaro La Gaiola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, one of Fabbrico FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fabbrico FC. The supporters of Fabbrico FC booed when Marechiaro La Gaiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Tassotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Colombo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Garofoli having to interfere. With a little luck, Fabbrico FC's Fortunato Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Corrado Marinacci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Garofoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Colombo in the 29th minute of the match. The Fabbrico FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Fabbrico FC's Adriano Colombo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabbrico FC's Emanuele Baresi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
After a defensive mix-up in Fabbrico FC's zone, Cristiano Proietti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Fiordelisi came out of the goal and Cristiano Proietti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Marechiaro La Gaiola getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Corrado Marinacci hit a great ball. Fabio Garofoli made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Emanuele Baresi sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Garofoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Colombo in the 59th minute of the match. If Alvise Tassotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Baresis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Fabio Garofoli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marechiaro La Gaiola's goalkeeper Fabio Garofoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabbrico FC's Adriano Colombo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Garofoli. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fabbrico FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
