Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Adriano Colombo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Baresi in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Miconi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damiano Angelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fortunato Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ernesto Farese fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabbrico FC's protests and gave Ernesto Farese a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Ernesto Farese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taneto's Ermanno Bernardini shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fortunato Fiordelisi but with some difficulty. When Fabbrico FC's Emanuele Baresi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taneto's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo De Rossi in the 17th minute of play forced Fabbrico FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angelo Forlani fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabbrico FC's protests and gave Angelo Forlani a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Forlani kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Taneto got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Bernardini. Taneto's Damiano Angelini got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damiano Angelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fortunato Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Fabbrico FC's Emanuele Baresi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Miconi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuele Baresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Miconi having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo De Rossi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Fabbrico FC's Adriano Colombo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvise Miconi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Armando Cocca's late challenge caught a Fabbrico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Cocca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Amos Cirone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo De Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fortunato Fiordelisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Anselmo De Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fabbrico FC's Fortunato Fiordelisi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Taneto's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Colombo came free, but Alvise Miconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Colombo in the 80th minute of play forced Taneto's goalkeeper Alvise Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Taneto got a freekick which was hit by Armando Nelli. When Emanuele Baresi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Fabbrico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Baresi couldn't finish the play. Taneto's Alvise Miconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Colombo in the 84th minute of play. Fortunato Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo De Rossi in the 88th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taneto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fabbrico FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
