Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Claudio Banana made the kick off and thus started the match. After 7 played minutes Canizzano got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Rava. Claudio Pedroni charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Pedroni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edoardo De Vecchis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Sacchetti in the 11th minute of play. Desio AFC's Amerigo Sacchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fortunato Cassone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Desio AFC's Francesco Picca got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Claudio Banana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Costa having to interfere. Desio AFC's Camillo Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Desio AFC from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Desio AFC's Amerigo Sacchetti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edoardo De Vecchis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edoardo De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Sacchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Canizzano's Fortunato Cassone made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camillo Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desio AFC's Camillo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Banana in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bruno Berti's late challenge caught a Canizzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Berti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Desio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Berti to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Desio AFC's Emiliano Amadei got a free kick in the 65th minute. Desio AFC's Camillo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Cassone in the 66th minute of play. Claudio Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Camillo Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camillo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Cassone, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Canizzano booed when Desio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Pedroni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Sacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Cassone in the 93rd minute of play forced Desio AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Claudio Pedroni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Many of Desio AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Desio AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Canizzano were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
