Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arasì AFC's Dario Scalabrino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Arasì AFC booed when Sambatello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Martinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Cirelli in the 6th minute of play forced Sambatello AFC's goalkeeper Ciccio Napoleoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Anthony Cirelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arasì AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Cirelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciccio Napoleoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Sambatello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Bobbio. 10 minutes into the game, Anthony Cirelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciccio Napoleoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dario Scalabrino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Arasì AFC's Ercole Cammarota got control of the ball when Bernardo Martinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercole Cammarota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Rucci in the 25th minute of the match. Ercole Cammarota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Rucci in the 26th minute of play. The Sambatello AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arasì AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Rucci to make the kick off. Anthony Cirelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Napoleoni having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sambatello AFC's Filippo Rosa got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ercole Cammarota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Martinelli's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Sambatello AFC's Augusto Rucci got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Martinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ercole Cammarota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Napoleoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Scalabrino, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Arasì AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Diego Colaneri hit a great ball. Amedeo Silveri kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ercole Cammarota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Rucci in the 78th minute of play. Augusto Bartolomucci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ercole Cammarota. Arasì AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Pascucci during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Arasì AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Pascucci. Sambatello AFC's Andrea Talamo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arasì AFC. In the 94th minute Augusto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Cammarota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Arasì AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arasì AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
