Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ercole Castellazzi kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Attilio Picca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denore AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Picca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Martinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino Mazzola's late challenge caught a Sambatello AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Mazzola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sambatello AFC booed when Denore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Mazzola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Napoleoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attilio Picca in the 14th minute. Alberigo Di Berardino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Martinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ercole Castellazzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denore AFC's Alberigo Di Berardino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Martinelli in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Sambatello AFC booed when Denore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Mazzola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Di Berardino had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Andrea Talamo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Martinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberigo Di Berardino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eugenio Cherubini kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Daniele Tondi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciccio Napoleoni. Sambatello AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ercole Castellazzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Napoleoni having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Augusto Rucci made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Denore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Armellini. Ciccio Napoleoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Castellazzi in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Denore AFC's Alberigo Di Berardino got control of the ball when Bernardo Martinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Augusto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Di Berardino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Di Berardino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Rucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Denore AFC's Ercole Castellazzi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Carlo Bobbio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sambatello AFC and the Denore AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sambatello AFC's Carlo Bobbio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Denore AFC's Daniele Tondi tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Augusto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Di Berardino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Bobbio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Denore AFC's Daniele Tondi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sambatello AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Picca in the 83rd minute of play forced Sambatello AFC's goalkeeper Ciccio Napoleoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Di Berardino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Rucci in the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Augusto Rucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
